2024 Congress on Gastrointestinal Function

The Congress on Gastrointestinal Function (CGIF) 2024 Congress will take place April 8 to 10, 2024, at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

CGIF maintains a tradition established in 1951 to provide academic and industry scientists a biennial forum to present the latest advances in our understanding of gastrointestinal microbiology, (immuno)physiology, and nutritional sciences.

The topics presented at the congress include studies with livestock and poultry species for food production and biomedical research, as well as clinical and nutritional studies relevant to improving human health and well-being. Research that addresses the environmental and public health impacts from gastrointestinal microbiology (e.g., the ecology of antibiotic resistance, food safety, and waste management) is also welcome.

We are proud to take part of CGIF. Join us as Dr. Megan Bible presents "The use of fast protein in diets of weaned pigs improves total gain" in NCSA Building Room 1122 (NCSA Auditorium) on Wednesday, April 10, at 1:40 pm.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Who's attending?

Providing the right nutrition in the first life stage determines the overall lifetime performance of the animal. Our soy-based specialty ingredients improve health, welfare and performance of young animals. That is how we deliver a strong return on investment to producers around the world.
